Biographies

Russell Dawson
Russell studied the violin at the Royal Northern College of Music with Yossi Zivoni. After graduating, he joined the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and later the first violins of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, where he was privileged to work with conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Gunther Wand and Andrew Davis. |

Born in Canada, Jane studied the violin at the Royal Academy of Music with Emanuel Hurwitz. Jane was sub-principal in Sadler's Wells Royal Ballet, a member of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and has worked with several other orchestras in London and the regions. Since moving to Dorset several years ago she has devoted more time to chamber music as well as
playing regularly with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

David Price
David studied the viola at the Royal Academy of Music where he won the chamber music prize. While in London he played with the Philharmonia and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras before moving to Dorset as head of strings at Sherborne School for Girls. He now teaches at three Sherborne schools and performs with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. |

Born in London, Nick studied the cello with Anthony Pini at the Royal College of Music. Formerly a front desk player with Opera North Orchestra, he currently freelances
with session
musicians and with London
orchestras. He has given many chamber music concerts and recitals in this country and abroad.
